Premier Services In today's world, people do not have time to pay bills, make deposits, or manage their finances. We can do those 'chores' for you.

Tax Planning Tax time doesn’t have to include nasty surprises. During the year we monitor the income level of our clients, and make recommendations for adjustments to withholdings or estimated tax payments.

The strategies we recommend are as individual as the clients themselves. Some people prefer to avoid a big tax bill at the end of the year. Others want to ensure that Uncle Sam doesn’t use have their money one day earlier than is required by law.

Whatever your preference, we can suggest a strategy to accomplish your goals.

Individual &
Corporate Returns
Every year there are changes to the tax code and regulations that may affect your tax returns. We make it our business to stay informed about those changes in order to assist our clients in paying only those taxes which they are required to pay. We are experienced in preparing individual, S Corporation, C Corporation, Partnership, Non Profit, and Trust returns.

We would welcome the opportunity to assist you with your income tax returns.

Payroll &
Payroll Taxes
We are equipped to prepare the payroll checks for you and your employees as well as all of the quarterly and annual reports required in the payroll process. This includes federal 940 and 941 forms, state unemployment forms, state withholding tax forms, W-2s, W-3s, 1099s, and monthly deposit coupons.

We provide step by step instructions for our clients outlining the method and place of filing the forms after we have completed them.

Our goal is to take the mystery out of the reporting requirements.

General Accounting/
Bookkeeping Service
We tailor our accounting and bookkeeping services to your needs. If you prefer to have constant access to your accounting system, we will come to your place of business and perform the bookkeeping and accounting functions on site. If you prefer a more economical route, we will perform the bookkeeping functions in our office. We will provide as much or as little service as you need.

Some of the services we provide are; preparing checks for payroll, preparing checks for bill payments, preparing deposit slips, reconciling the bank statement, preparing invoices to send to customers, and compiling financial statements (balance sheets and income statements) and other management reports.

Some clients find it helpful to have us perform many of these tasks while we also teach their personnel how to perform them. Then as their personnel feel comfortable taking over the tasks, we reduce our service level to an as needed basis. In this situation we feel we have been successful when we have worked ourselves out of a job.

We want to serve only as long as we can add value to your business.

Auditing &
Financial Statements
Banks and other lending institutions often require their customers to submit audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements. An audit is when the CPA expresses an opinion on whether the financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This is the most time consuming and therefore generally the most expensive level of service.

A review is when the CPA performs some analytical procedures, but not enough to express an opinion on the financial statements. Generally the CPA can include in this report that she does not know of anything in the financial statements that is not in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

A compilation is when the CPA takes information from management and puts it in the form of financial statements. The CPA does not perform any analytical procedures on the financial statements and expresses absolutely no opinion or any other form of assurance on them. This, of course, is the least expensive level of financial statement service.

Our president brings over a decade of auditing and accounting experience to our firm. She has experience in performing financial audits reviews and compilations for a wide variety of clients, including; small businesses, banks, non-profit organizations, pension plans, governmental agencies and others.

Consulting We believe our most valuable service to you is our consulting service. We often operate as a sounding board for our clients when they are making those decisions that affect the direction and future of their businesses.

We may perform break even analyses, cash flow projections or other analyses to assist the owner in making such decisions as whether to enter a new business line, add additional employees or even to sell the business.

We also assist those who seek to start a new business by preparing the appropriate forms for the IRS and State Department of Revenue.  We help in determining what type of entity will be beneficial for your company.

Of course, we can also help determine the appropriate accounting software for your needs.

We want to be more than a historian counting beans and telling you where you’ve been. We can help you determine where your business is going. That’s why we’re here.

Eldercare
Services
We are pleased to announce that we have expanded our practice and are now offering eldercare services. Eldercare services encompass a wide range of services that CPAs can provide in relation to the care of an older adult. In most cases, CPAs perform the services to provide assurance to adult children regarding care for their elderly parents. Services that can be provided include coordinating arrangements for the appropriate level of care (institutional care, in-home sitters, etc.), paying the older adult's bills, supervising household expenditures, and reporting periodically to the older adult's family on the quality of care being provided by caregivers.

Our president has recently completed a training program in the field of eldercare, and is in the process of establishing productive relationships with other eldercare professionals (including a geriatric care manager who can help establish and monitor a comprehensive care plan). Please feel free to call on us if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss our new eldercare practice.
