Debbie graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She earned her CPA certification in 1984, and is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. Debbie has previously worked as a teacher for the Jefferson Parish School District. She also worked as a Senior Tax Accountant for Pearson Hammatt & Associates. Debbie has over 23 years of experience in the area of tax, where she has prepared both income and payroll tax returns for a wide variety of corporations, s-corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profit organizations, 5500's, and individuals. She is also an asset in the area of Quickbooks Consultation. When away from work, Debbie enjoys attending LSU football games as she "bleeds purple and gold." She also likes to read, cross stitch, walk, and spend time with family and friends.
