Yvette graduated Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in May of 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting where she was a member of such honor societies as Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Phi Kappa Phi. She began her career as a Staff Accountant for Ernst and Young and served previous stints with The Rehabilitation Hospital of Baton Rouge, the corporate office of McDonalds in Baton Rouge, as well as a local CPA firm. Yvette is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. Yvette Poret-Crochet, CPA, LLC was established in January of 2000 to provide quality accounting services to individuals and small businesses in the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas. Her firm merged with Latuso and Johnson, CPA, LLC in December of 2006. This integration expanded Latuso and Johnson’s presence to the Lafayette area. Yvette has extensive experience in tax, audits, consultation, financial statements, and management. She has experience working with various entities. Among them being governmental programs, trust funds, small businesses, pension plans, large entities, and non-profit organizations.
